Dressing herself up in drab men's clothing, Zoe went over to Fusion. "Zarf" told Bianca that the entire transgender story had been a lie, that "he" was just doing research for a new album. "He" apologized for hurting her and turned to leave, but was confronted by the police. There had been another attack and "Zarf" was the prime suspect.

Drugs and a syringe had been discovered in "Zarf's" hotel room. The last victim had been poisoned that way, so it was an obvious deduction. When the police chief held up the drugs, Zoe panicked. She fought everyone off and managed to escape.

Zoe ran to the one person she knew would be there for her--Babe. Her friend came through, but tried to convince Zoe to tell the truth so she wouldn't be a murder suspect anymore. Zoe was too scared and just wanted to hide. She didn't think anyone would understand and would call her a freak.

While hiding in the Chandler Mansion tunnel, they were discovered by Josh. Zoe was confronted by an angry mob, where she ended up confessing to murder in order to hide the truth. But when the lab report on her mystery drug came in and revealed it was Estrogen, Zoe tearfully explained who she was. Unfortunately her murder confession stuck and she was arrested.

Now that the truth had come out, Bianca visited Zoe in jail and apologized for the awful misunderstanding between them. She believed Zoe was innocent of murder and wanted to be there for her. Zoe was once again full of hope.

After being released on bail, Zoe went back to stay with Babe at the Chandler Mansion. But after another murder happened in the mansion, Josh took Zoe to stay with him so he could keep an eye on her. She and Bianca started getting to know each other better. But the serial killer was about to strike again.
