Damian Millhouse Spinelli (aka The Jackal, Ace Of Cyberspace) came to Port Charles to attend PCU as a computer science major. Mobster Lorenzo Alcazar hired him to fabricate evidence on a flash drive as part of his plan to take over rival Sonny Corinthos's territory. Sonny's partner Jason Morgan kidnapped Spinelli and convinced him to turn against Alcazar. (Spinelli refers to people by monickers)

Jason (Stone Cold) had help in the form of his girlfriend Sam McCall (The Goddess) and Spinelli's classmate Lu Lu Spencer (The Blonde One). Spinelli was infatuated with Lu Lu and Sam and in awe of Jason's "mojo" so he decided to join forces with Sonny's organization. Lu Lu convinced Jason to let Spinelli live with him for his own protection.

Spinelli had an overly dramatic flair, spouting Shakespearean quotations, as well as cyber gibberish. He also appeared to be stoned most of the time. It was later proven that he did indeed smoke pot. Jason confiscated it, but Sam took it to her mother, who was recovering from cancer treatments.

Spinelli became Lu Lu's best friend. He helped her find evidence to clear her mother of murder and was her confidante when they found out her brother was not the father of his wife Elizabeth's son. Jason was. Despite Spinelli's devotion to Lu Lu, she fell for Logan Hayes, who Spinelli dubbed "The Unworthy One".

Jason let Spinelli remain in the penthouse after the trial and the two developed a brotherly bond. They even worked together to help rescue hostages from The Metro Court when it was taken over by a group of terrorists led by James Craig (The Unhinged One). Spinelli had proven himself to be a loyal friend, as well as an indespensible asset to the Corinthos organization.

Georgie Jones (Wise Georgie) a co-worker of Lu Lu's fell in love with Spinelli, unbeknownst to him. She often made up excuses for him to help her with his cyber skills. When her sister Maxie (The BAD Blonde One) was attacked by The Text Message Killer she asked Spinelli to help her investigate. Spinelli didn't like Maxie, but he would do anything for his faithful friend.
